#@ALL MEN Being taken for granted hurts. You feel invisible after giving your all. But “humble a girl” as in punish her, play games, or hurt her ego usually backfires. You either break the relationship or train her to fear you, not respect you. What actually works = 3 steps that restore respect without becoming bitter:👇👇👇 1. Stop over-giving + create space People take for granted what’s always available. Pull back your time, energy, favors. Not to “punish” her — to reset the balance. If you were replying in 2 seconds, wait a bit. If you solved all her problems, let her handle some. Absence makes people notice value. 2. Set clear boundaries + speak up once Men stay silent then explode. Don’t do that. Calmly tell her: “I feel taken for granted when I do X and it’s never acknowledged / when plans are always about you. I need us to be more mutual.” One clear convo > 10 petty moves. A woman who respects you will adjust. One who doesn’t will show you. 3. Raise your standards + invest in you “Humbling” happens naturally when you stop chasing. Hit the gym, handle your money, build your circle, level up your life. When your world doesn’t revolve around her, 2 things happen: 1) She either steps up, or 2) She leaves and you’re okay anyway. Both are wins for you. What NOT to do: Ghost her to “teach her a lesson”, start posting other girls, insult her, or withhold love to control her. That’s manipulation, not leadership. It kills trust. Real talk: You can’t force someone to value you. You can only show them what life looks like with/without your effort. The right woman won’t need to be “humbled” — she’ll meet you halfway because she doesn’t want to lose you.
