AND THE NEW ANIMATION STYLE IS SO DIFFERENT ALIENATING THE ORIGINAL FANS OF SHREK. THAT IS ONE PROBLEM WITH ALL OF THIS. DREAMWORKS ALREADY DID THIS WITH THE LAST WISH FINE. SO WHY IS IT SO DIFFERENT FOR SHREK? THE SAME UNIVERSE THAT THESE CHARACTERS ARE COMING FROM. BOTH OF THEM HAVE A STORYBOOK AESTHETIC THAT THEY'RE PULLING FROM. EVEN THE ORIGINAL THIS LIKE, STORYBOOK LOOK TO IT. AND YES, THE ORIGINAL SHREK FILMS ARE A LITTLE BIT ROUGH, LITTLE BIT UGLY, BUT THE MODERNIZATION BOOTS WAS SEEN AS FINE. WAS OSCAR NOMINATED.
