You might never figure it out. Learn to be at peace with that. You might never know the reason something happened the way it did, why one thing didn’t work out or someone hurt you how they did. It’s frustrating, even agonising trying to conjure up the reasons things fail. And sometimes they just don’t work. There is such a freedom in recognising this. Not everything or everyone has to have some perfect blame or burned bridge, some things, some people, some situations just do not flower into what you hope. How often have you failed? A lot! You might not always know why, and it’s important to try and learn and fix it but also be gracious, it’s yours and everyone else’s first time alive. We have this hope that everyone else has it figured out, and that’s why life should be better, and that’s why life is disappointing when it isn’t - we are all here for the first time just trying our best, and that’s different for all of us.
