What to know about visiting Universal Kids Resort as a DFW local? There are things to do for toddlers, little kids, and I think teens and adults will love it too, but elementary age kids will have the most fun. There are shaded areas and misters, but most of the park is open. There are some rides with height requirements of 30 or 34 inches, but most are three feet and up for little kids. For little kids, there's lots of playgrounds and splash pads. There's also shows, meet and greets and games. You can definitely explore it all in one full day or spend a few hours visiting just your favorite character land. For food, there are food stands in each land with a few indoor restaurant options. Some helpful mom tips you bring a diaper bag, a formula, and your own stroller or two seaters are available to rent. I'd recommend bringing extra clothes and even a swimsuit since there's lots of splash pads and water rides. Overall it's a super fun attraction for DFW families. And if you have elementary age kids, I definitely recommend an annual pass.
