a couple years ago

a couple years ago I took a risk and now in an eight month span, my clothing brand has generated almost a quarter million dollars but trust me when I say I remember exactly what it felt like starting from the beginning not knowing anything hi, my name is Inayah & I am a 24 year old entrepreneur I've actually been in business for a few years now but it was never in the clothing industry stepping into the fashion world was completely different it felt brand new and I had so many questions with no one to ask I spent hours on YouTube watching video after video after video texting myself notes with the steps on how to begin I even wasted tens and tens and tens of thousands of dollars thinking that manufacturing in the US would work as a new brand what did work for me was going 7,000 miles away all the way to China I was able to meet my manufacturers in person I was able to go to the world's largest fabric market I was able to feel my fabrics in my hands see the factories where my garments were being made meet shipping agents and actually gain the resources to build this brand the way I envisioned from the beginning I'm not even a year in but I've gone so far in such a short period of time I've been to China twice in my first 90 days I generated $100,000 I built my Instagram from zero to over 20,000 followers in less than eight months I built an email list of over 10,000 people I've sold out of multiple styles restocked and sold out again and I documented the entire process when I first began I would have paid literally anything to learn from someone and get the step by step process so I've spent the last few months figuring out every step that I took and creating a system that others can follow If there are any women looking to start or scale a custom clothing brand manufacturing overseas and getting it all the way to the US it's not as out of reach as it may seem today for the first time ever I am opening spots into my "Her First Order" program which breaks down my systems, my tools and gives you direct access to me If that's you go click the link in my bio if not thank you for being here along the journey
