if journaling intimidates you allow me to introduce a concept: murakami journaling repackaged (pls watch that video for better context lol) #journaling #selfdiscovery #theartistsway #journalingprompts for the girls that want to start journaling, you always wanted to get into journaling or you've romanticized the concept of journaling but you can't seem to put pen to paper. Allow me to introduce a concept that I feel like makes journaling or at least the entry or the gateway point, a little easier. A call the concept morning tweets. Okay? Bear with me. This concept to me came from this YouTube video. If you've done the artist way, you know that one of the pieces of homework is every day you're gonna sit down and write three free writing pages of like, complete brain dump in a journal every single morning. Like, you wake up. And for some people, that genuinely sounds like hell on earth, right? For me, it just sounds like a slight barrier to entry. If you've never really journaled before or you're new to like exploring your thoughts outward. So with this video that I'm showcasing, though, explains this way better than I'm explaining this. So if you want an actual explanation on the topic itself, please go watch this video. But essentially, I took the concept and created what I'm calling morning tweets. And I essentially write little two three liners that ground me in what I'm actively thinking about without the pressure of having to write three pages about something. Maybe it's a fleeting thought. Maybe it's something I'm actively looking at and noticing and I'm taking note of that thing. Like, pure as you see it. But I got my get up from Party City because I don't think I'm fooling anyone. My life pursuit is trying to convince people I'm a lovely person. I am a lovely person. I want an Amazon Kindle. It's a little personal so you don't, you know, whatever. My dad passed 12 years ago tomorrow. I never touch on this because why would I? Grief is so personal and I almost never want to be known for that, even if I think it'd be helpful. How I cope is probably unnatural to most. Yikes. You get the point. That being said, again, if you've always wanted to get into journaling and it just felt like a difficult thing to start doing, this is a great entry point. It's low stakes, low pressure. Try it. Let me know how it goes. Give the morning tweets a try. Um, and they can stay here. You don't have to read them to the internet. Like I just did. Okay, bye.
