Dark stories in the Bible part two, Noah raped. For this story we're gonna go to Genesis. And this event takes place right after the flood. You see after the flood, Noah made a vineyard and he started to get drunk off the wine and was making from it. Well, one night Noah got so drunk that he passed out. And his son Ham went in there and did some things to him. Genesis 9:22 says that And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without. Ham saw the nakedness of his father, and then ran and told his brothers. Now if we go to Leviticus, Leviticus chapter 20 verse 11. We see to uncover somebody's nakedness means to lie with them. To lie with them in a sexual manner. Noah was raped by Ham. You see in ancient times, rape wasn't just for sexual pleasure. It was to show dominance and to humiliate somebody. And to show that they are submissive to you. You see the reason why Ham went to go tell his brothers after he did what he did to Noah, is to express his dominance over his brothers. And he was trying to say he's superior to his brothers now because he overtook his father. This was Ham's way of trying to come up in the world. And win you. And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him. And that's why the next verse when Noah awakes, he knows what happened to him. Because I'm pretty sure you're gonna know if you got it in the backside, you know? But stay prayed up and stay with God. It's a dark world out there.
