And as I teased at the end of the last rock series, we're working on cutting lower and getting back to our normal fairway height for the summer, but not before a little bit more maintenance. Like I said, just a little bit ago, it was acting like this. So we need to bring in the old rusty adjusty here. And we're bringing the height from about an inch, so we've kept it on the rough grass all winter down to my normal height for the summer. Half an inch. Nailed it. My buddy Abel from Lawn Force sent me some wash it, so I decided to give that a try. Gross. I was way overdue. And thanks to Abel, that's way better. So back to the mowing. This is just step one in my preseason scalping. We could call it a prescalp if you will. Basically just cutting as much of the grass off as possible, getting it down to dirt. The next time I mow, I'll lower it down even more. I'll put something on with a grass catcher so I can actually collect all the clippings and get it down so it's nice and brown. But for right now, I don't feel like it looks all that bad. What do you think? So in my half, since that is somebody else's property? Or just my half, since that is somebody else's property? What about edging? Am I supposed to mow the whole thing, but only edge my half, since everybody else likes to edge differently? What if I pay a lawn company and do it? Have them mow my half and pay them to mow both halves? What's the neighborly consensus here? I'm being accused of planting these huge rocks in my lawn. But riddle me this. I've only lived in this house for eight years. So how can I plant those rocks from tiny pebbles and grow into those massive things in just that amount of time? You see this part of the lot away from my house was the only spot in the entire neighborhood that didn't get any dirt work done. And there are just naturally lots of rocks. Right. So I went and picked up with the skid steer and placed it here next to my green. In fact, that's the spot where I dug out that first massive rock that you saw at the beginning of the summer. There are rocks everywhere. This one came from the development right behind me when they were doing the dirt work for all those houses.
