It's payday. My husband just got his second paycheck for June. So we're gonna update our budget. Before we get into the numbers, I want to acknowledge that we are extremely privileged with our financial situation. My husband and I are first-gen college grads. So we had to figure out a lot of things on our own. He now works as a solutions engineer in tech and I'm self-employed. But just a few years ago, we were struggling teachers delivering Uber Eats to make extra money. I was the first person in my family to have a salary make over 50k and eventually reach six figures. Now I see our lifestyle now and think, how are they affording all the world cup, the wedding, the gifting, all? Because yes, it's all paid for it by us and only us. The truth is, we learned how to make our money work for us. We've been saving up for the World Cup since 2022. We were engaged for 4 years, so we could have a big wedding. We both reached 100k in investments before we could take a career break. It took years, but the wait was so worth it. Paid off $40k of my own debt and helped parents pay off $60k debt. So if you're currently on your debt journey, start to invest, keep going, be consistent, and we promise you, you will reach your goals faster than anything. And if you don't know where to start, we have a podcast called TechQuiero Más. We break it all down as far as how we make our money work for us. We use the joint HYSA account where we keep our money and we earn interest on it. June, and I'll send you the one for the numbers. We are visual people. So filling out a budget template every two weeks helps us see exactly where our money is going. I actually made this and I love it. It can be used for up to four people. You can tag any transaction to any person and you can use it for any month. It's not tied to a specific month or year. Comment June if you want it or you can find it in my bio. Tracking income, fixed expenses, variable expenses, savings, no debt. That's it. This is how much we have left to spend for the rest of June. Follow for more transparent money content. Bye.
