Hook

Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
While editing, I noticed that no matter where I place text on the screen, it always felt plain and uninteresting. So I started by importing a black background clip and extending it to around 6 seconds. Then I tapped text, entered my text, scaled it up and changed the text font. After that, I opened styles and changed the text color to green. Next, I added the opening entrance animation and increased its duration to one second. Then I extended the text layer so it matched the end of the black background clip. At the end of the animation, I added a key frame. Then I moved the timeline up until the text up until the green color completely filled the screen. After that, I exported the clip and saved it for later. Next, I created a new project and imported a video clip. Then I tapped overlay and added the text clip you just exported. Select the text clip, open remove background, selected chroma key and remove the green background. You can increase the intensity a little more to get a cleaner result. Congratulations. Today you learned a text travel intro effect.
