I'm at this restaurant called Rex and Royal right now and why is it like one of the best restaurants I think I've ever been to in the whole entire Philadelphia. I'm shocked. It's Chad's birthday. Our very amazing black and mild smoking friend. What look at this menu. Okay, hold on. I should have been better prepared. All right. So first of all, on the drinks, they have a "Por Dio", "Groundbreaking", "South of South", "Royal Martini", "Make it Strong", "Royal Espresso Martini", "Royalty Flight". Like, what? And the blackness. I should have been here on June 10th. And then they even have a "Crown Royal Flight" or on top of all these amazing drinks, you can also get a root beer float and then you can add alcohol into it. Now for the actual meals, they're making oysters with collar greens in it. Collar greens. And then they got "Trout Roe Deviled Eggs". It's just so much deliciousness on here. And they were very overwhelmed. This is the bread basket. I guess these are rolls, cornbread, biscuits. And then these are the oysters on half shell, grilled oysters, tuna crudo, shrimp cocktail, low country plate, smoked fish dip, trout roe deviled eggs, royal plateau. Fresh bread, royal bread basket, buttermilk biscuits, skillet cornbread. On the side, French fries, collard greens, cast iron mac & cheese, black eyed peas, Carolina gold rice, okra. Salads, Southern Caesar, Cobb salad, beet salad. Salad additions. Entrees, Frogmore stew, chicken & gnocchi, grilled pork chop, blackened catfish, not so crabby cakes, catfish and waffles, rib eye, Rex burger, special, fried chicken dinner. Small plates, crawfish pot pie, bourbon mussels, smoked chicken wings, crab cake, fried green tomatoes & okra. Special, Thursday dinner. Everything was too tasty and too good I need to come back. Happy birthday to you. Yay! Oh, that's what that is. I told you I was joking. No. That's biscuits. Okay. And then these are the deviled eggs with the trout roe. I hate when people are big and greedy and just want to eat. So they do this. Look big and greedy. Entree time. So I got these like Cajun mussels. They have a bunch of stuff in there, like sausage and bacon. And then Kim got ribs, collard greens and mac and cheese. And they got shrimp and grits. Mac and cheese. Ribs, collard greens and mac and cheese. And they got shrimp and grits.
