My top five burger joints in the South Bay. And I'm a trained chef. I own a burger joint. The spots that earn my place on the list. No. 5 is Wilson's Burgers. It's on Anza and PCH in Torrance. Wilson's been open for over 20 years with nostalgic vibes and old school menu board. This burger comes with onions, pickle, tomato, lettuce and Thousand Island. So fresh and delicious. Reminds me in. Next up in spot comes Spread, Please! Right here in El Segundo on Main. Spread, Please! also started as a pop-up with two brothers in the San Fernando Valley. Chatsworth, they made the South Bay and super blessed. Their burgers come with white cheddar, grilled onions, and their homemade pickles and their homemade spread. Super tasty and delightful. Up next on my list, spot number three, the MELT. They just opened up at the Del Amo Mall, right here in Torrance. Originally founded in San Francisco in 2011. They really made themselves for high quality ingredients. You really see it out. This new location is next door to Lucille's Barbecue where Lemonade used to be. Very clean and the decor was on point. I got the Original Burger Melt with special sauce, a Wagyu patty and chopped pickled jalapeno mix. I didn't taste until I bit into it. Look how beautiful the jalapeno mix looks on top. This joint. I highly recommend this joint. Fantastic. Next on the list, spot two. Proudly Serving. Proudly Serving right off Hermosa Avenue. These guys started in 2020 in the driveway doing pop-ups. Look where they are now. Let's go. They have two other locations, Redondo Beach and in Long Beach. Cool decor and vibes. I sat outside. The burgers come Oklahoma style with fried onions in pickles and special sauce. Absolutely terrific. The number one spot on my list, Ercole's. Ercole's started in 1929. One of the oldest bars here in Manhattan Beach. Ercole's is located one block from the beach. To me, this is a definition of a classic dive bar. So much fun. Their beef is superior and it comes from the butcher next door. Red onion, tomato, lettuce, mustard and mayonnaise. I absolutely love this burger. What burger joint am I missing? Tell me which one should I go to next?
