On today's episode of making my 200 year old house 1% better everyday, ep 2. replacing outlets. I am changing these crusty, dusty outlets. I am shocked that my house did not burn down with how disgustingly dusty these were. Never is it so easy. You are just matching colours to colours, so black wire to silver screws, white wire to gold screws, and ground wire to green. Trust me if I can do it, you can definitely do it. So the first one is done and now I can properly use this outlet without my plug falling out of it. And now the second one is a doozy because look at how dusty this is. Absolutely disgusting. This one was a tough job, so I didn't film it, but I did fix it. I am gonna have to patch the sheet rock so I can mount the outlet box to it. But the electrical is fine, the outlet is working and now it is fresh and clean.
