Foul Line Drills: Yay or Nay?

One thing I wish more bowlers talked about: foul line drills. Not sexy. Not exciting. No huge hook. No posting strike compilations. But if you really want to improve? Spend time at the foul line. That drill exposes everything—balance, release, hand position, staying behind the ball, keeping your shoulders quiet, letting the ball roll instead of forcing it. Crazy part is you can stand still and learn more in 20 minutes than throwing a whole set chasing score. A lot of us think we need new equipment, bigger rev rates, more speed… when sometimes we just need to slow down and teach our body what a good shot actually feels like.
