Everyone thinks you need a ton of money to start a business. I started with $500. One trip to TJ Maxx changed my life. On my first sourcing trip, I met a mentor who showed me how to get ungated and pointed me toward my first profitable products. Within a week I made my first sale. That was all the proof I needed. I pulled the rest of my money out of crypto and went all in. My first month I did $12,000 in sales. From there I became obsessed. I found local suppliers, built relationships, reinvested every dollar, and eventually found a product that changed everything. For weeks I drove across four states buying every unit I could find. My car eventually became too small, so I started renting U-Hauls just to move inventory. Less than four months after starting, I crossed $100,000 in sales. Looking back, I’m thankful for more than the money. This journey introduced me to incredible people and showed me what’s possible when you fully commit to something.
