I'm a 20-year-old from England revolutionizing a billion-pound industry. Like you, I spent most of my childhood chasing the same dream: becoming a professional footballer. Once I realized that was probably far-fetched, to play at the highest level possible, which took me to Loughborough University to play for their football team, and step four, trying to get a degree in sports science. And this is when I realized there was a massive problem in the football industry. There are ambitious footballers up and down the country that are training alone. And I know this because I was one of them, myself, day after day, training. I realized my dream of playing possible, one, my, solve this. Four months ago, I start building an app where footballers can post where they're training, what time they're training, and their ability level. And then other nearby footballers can see this on their map and join their session. Or you can use your map to join someone else's session. And the best thing is, it launched on the App Store two weeks ago, and it's free. Now I've only spent four months building it, but it sort of feels like my life purpose, chasing professional football is already a lonely journey, and this app exists to make that little lonely and more connected. It's called BALLR, and it's live on the App Store, completely free to download. Or you can use the link in my bio.
