So you built an application with AI. Maybe you vibe coded it or maybe you used some good engineering based methodology. And now your application is running and you're showing it to the customers. The customers use it. The customers love it. They love the features. Then they ask a question and you don't know what to do with it. They say, is this SOC compliant? How do you protect our data? Are you HIPAA compliant? What about GDPR? All of these compliant certifications are not just paperwork. They're a reflection of the engineering that went into your application. And the engineering discipline is what determines whether or not you can get certified with these things. Things like data security, things like authorization and access, things like controls. All of these have to go into a good application in order for them to get certified. And if you're not certified, then a business will probably not use your application. If they do, they're taking a lot of risk. So you need to be thinking about this while you're building your application, while you're planning your application, but especially after it's deployed to make sure that you are following the security and the compliance requirements in the business that you're trying to sell to. And that may take a lot of research, it may take a lot of reprogramming, redevelopment, but these these compliant certifications are very important. I wrote an article about compliance certification for my Engineering for Vibe Coders series. I'll put a link to it in the comments. Let me know what you think and if it's helpful.
