March DeWitt (my grandma) Peanutbutter cookies: 1/2 C sugar 1/2 C brown sugar 1/2 C Peanut Butter 1/2 C butter 1 egg 1 1/2 C flour 3/4 t baking soda 1/2 t baking powder 1/4 t salt Directions: Soften the butter. Then cream the butter and both sugars together. Then add the peanut butter and egg. Mix all dry ingredients together in a separate bowl. Once mixed all the way, add the dry ingredients to the peanut butter mixture. Make sure to scrape the cookie dough bowl a few times in between putting the mixtures together, that way all the ingredients are properly mixed. Scoop onto baking sheets and bake at 375 for 9-10 minutes. Keep in mind once taken out of the oven, the cookies will continue to bake on the baking sheet for a few minutes.
