I didn’t use to pray for this life. Truthfully, I didn’t even know a life like this existed. Then somewhere between getting caught in the rain on the back of a Grab bike in Vietnam and singing, “Feel the rain on your skin…”, it hit me. I still hold the pen. My story isn’t fixed. It’s still being written. There’s a lyric in Unwritten that says, “Reaching for something in the distance, so close you can almost taste it.” Baby… if that isn’t me as a Black American living in Vietnam, building a startup, finding community, and creating a life I never imagined was possible, I don’t know what is. Living abroad hasn’t given me a perfect life. It’s given me permission to write a different one. Maybe that’s what this journey has always been about. Here’s your reminder: you don’t have to keep living the story you were handed. You can pick up the pen and write a new chapter. 📍Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam 🇻🇳 #Vietnam #VietnamTravel #HoChiMinhCity #tiktokvietnam #danang
