If you've got some features here that I've been using lately. These features will make it feel more personalized. First, let's customize your finder folders. Open any folder, then press Command + J or View and then Show View Options. At the bottom on the background, change it to color, you want, or even select your own image to use as a folder background. It's a small customization, but it makes your project folders or even your desktop organization look way more unique. Next, let's change your folder icon. Find any image or icon you want to use. Copy it. Then right-click your folder and select Get Info. Click the small folder icon at the top of the info window and simply paste your image. Now instead of every folder looking identical, custom icons for work, school, editing, school, whatever helps you find things better. Next, hot corners. Go to System Settings, Desktop and Dock. Scroll all the way down and click Hot Corners. From here, you can assign different actions to each corner of your screen. I personally use one corner to instantly show my desktop and another to open a quick note, but there's actually tons of other shortcuts with hot corners. So again, if you're liking videos like these, make sure to save and follow for our next one.
