and see the real problem what y'all kids nowadays is that they've never been sent down South for the summer. They don't have any real discipline. They haven't had to sit and shuck sugar snap peas on the porch for six hours straight in the heat. Only had grandma's voice on the AM FM radio. Wasn't no tablet, wasn't no phone, wasn't no social media. You had to sit and be disciplined in the task for hours on end. And it wasn't no tablet. It wasn't no tablet. You had TV after dinner and that's only after you ate and finished everything that was on your plate. You said yes ma'am, no ma'am. You spoke to adults and they spoke to you. These kids nowadays don't have no sense of respect, discipline and good Southern values. Y'all didn't have to sit and hand out the pound cakes in the church hall with the old ladies and the shows. A lot of y'all didn't have to pick pecans and 102 degree weather and it shows. I promise you if Gen Alpha had to spend one summer down South, they would come down completely changed. I promise.
