1. Having to ask permission to go to the doctor (and then feeling guilty about taking time off for it). 2. Being told which days you could and could not take time off on. 3. Getting “kudos” and praise for going above and beyond instead of the ACTUAL overtime pay you deserve (or better yet, staffing/resources that would’ve made it unnecessary). 4. Having to not question any decisions by those who have a higher title than you. 5. Glorifying those that “hop back on” in the evenings/weekends 6. Doing multiple people’s jobs after layoffs and being told that we’re the lucky ones 7. ALLLL the forced fun and team building events.. tell me why was I forced to eat lunch with everyone every single day and have to think of a new two truths & a lie every single time someone new joins the company? tell me what I’m missing bc I know there’s more 👀👀 #corporatelife #corporatelingo #corporatehumor #9to5life #selfemployed
