If you want to get a job and I don't mean any type of job. I'm talking about like one of them jobs where you're comfortable, you're living a good life, you might like where you work and probably even like the people. Here's what you got to do. Instead of going on indeed or LinkedIn and pressing apply, apply, apply, try this instead. And before you swipe, I was a former recruiter in private equity and I really do understand the job market. I've been able to get several full-time jobs and internships using this exact method. You reach out to people at companies instead. Wait, is it that simple? Yeah, bro, it is. A lot of people never try this because they think that people won't respond or that their profile isn't good enough. And I had gotten this advice from someone who had a much shittier resume than I did. And I'm not saying that if you reach out to someone via email or whatever, you're guaranteed to get the job. But what you are doing is you're putting your foot in the door and that's what matters most.
