A father was filmed putting his baby in a plastic bucket balanced on a round floating table and wading through deep floodwater to rush the kid to the hospital last Sunday in Guangxi, China during torrential rain. Extreme downpours triggered by Typhoon Maysak have left local streets heavily inundated with water reaching up to a person's neck. The witness, Ms Luo, noted that the floating table was rocking on the water and appeared on the verge of capsizing. She and her nephew were checking on their shop from the second floor when they spotted the family, prompting her nephew to immediately jump into the floodwater to assist and escort the father and baby to shallower ground.
