Americans 1st Month in Novi Sad Serbia notes Never felt so safe in my life. Everyone smokes & has kids. Beautiful outdoor restaurants / cafes & very green No Amazon. Go to the outdoor markets instead Carry cash (dinars) 1000 dinars - $1 Great Thai & Chinese. More conservative than Croatia / EU Balkan countries. Can't wear shorts to police station. Everyone's name ends in ic. Lots of Gypsies but not the peaky blinders kind. BEST Burek ispod Sača at Kolimar ( & = ) Incredible produce They all learn Cyrillic & Latin in school.
