Step By Step: How To Build Your Own Jarvis

Hey Jarvis, run the numbers, where we at today? And we're sitting at just over $101,000 a month in recurring revenue overall with damn near 3,000 paying members on the core membership alone. And that number's been climbing steadily day over day. Or maybe you just want to build something fun, like Earl. Hey Earl, how we doing today? Doing good, pard. Doing real good. Sun's up, coffee's hot, and ain't nothing on fire that I can see. Well, in this video, I'm going to show you exactly how to do it step by step, and I'm not going to sell you a course, I'm not going to try to get you to opt in to anything. I'm just going to show you exactly how to do it right here and right now. In order to make this work, you only need two things. You need Claude Code and you need a program called Obsidian. It's free and you can just download it on your computer. Step one, make a folder on your computer, and then in that folder you're going to make a file called CLAUDE.md. In this file, you're going to tell your agent who it is. You're going to give it its name, its personality, how it works with you, and any other attributes you may want to give it. The next thing you're going to do is you're going to add your rules. These tell your AI agent what it can and can't do and how it works with you and what you expect out of it. And by the way, I have a template of my own CLAUDE.md file with rules and examples in it of how I work with my agents, and if you'd like a copy of that, just leave me a comment below and I'll send you the link. And finally, in your CLAUDE.md file, you're going to tell your agent where to look next. And where you want it to look next is your Obsidian vault. But you only want it to look at one note in that Obsidian vault and that is called your Vault Index. So Obsidian is just a visual interface for certain files and folders on your computer. And what you do with Obsidian is you define what files and folders on your computer are part of what's called the Obsidian vault. And on the back end of Obsidian, it looks like this. It's just files and folders. And you'll notice there's one file here that's not in any folders and it's called the Vault Index. This is the note that we told our agent to read next in the CLAUDE.md file. The Vault Index has two jobs. The first job is to tell the agent about yourself, and the second job is to give it a map. It's to tell it what's in the vault, but not to tell it everything in the vault, just kind of give it a general overview of everything in your Obsidian vault. And if you're not comfortable about giving your agent information about yourself, then just skip this part. But you can put your name, your age, your history, what you do, your businesses, key people in your life, and anything else you may want your AI to know. The next thing you want to do in this note is give your AI agent a map of your Obsidian vault. This is just a very general overview of what it can expect to find in your Obsidian vault. It gives it the folders and then it tells it one or two sentences about what it can expect to find in each folder. And this is really important, because once you get your Obsidian vault built up and you have more notes in there, you don't want your AI agent to read your entire vault because it would burn tokens and it would have a lot of context bloat. So if you do it like this, it only loads the information that it needs to load when it needs to load it. The next step is to launch Claude Code. Open terminal and type CD for change directory and then put the folder path of where your CLAUDE.md file is. After that, type Claude to activate Claude Code and you're ready to go. And the final two things you need to do is build your voice line and build the visualizer. And your AI can do all of this for you, especially if you're using Claude Code. I'm going to put the prompts right here so you can give them to your AI agent and tell it exactly what it needs to do to build it for you. And over time, you can build up your Obsidian vault and make new notes giving your AI agent instructions on how to do things you want it to do. For example, drafting emails, running Facebook ads, creating sales pages, anything you can think of. Image design, product design, making videos, it can do it all. And once you've done that, you've built the brain of your AI agent. Memory on demand, unlimited memory. It can go and pull anything it wants at any time, load that context and do the task that you ask it to do, which is exactly what a Jarvis should be able to do.
