my AC unit started to grow some hair

my AC unit started to grow some hair so it's about that time we take care of that and she's working overtime right now and I like to do this about once a year just to make sure my AC unit runs smoothly I've done this multiple times so I was not expecting to break it this time and honestly this is super easy to do maybe watch a different tutorial cause I did break mine you're just gonna take the top off you can also take off the sides but I could not get mine off for some reason I did go in with a vacuum just to get all the stuff out the bottom and then you're gonna go in with a water hose and just clean off the coils there was a ton of dust and dirt and nasty build up on there and this will help your AC unit just run a little better I don't think it's one of those things that you have to do every single year maybe every few years I thought I was done I put the lid back on put all the little screws back in there and I was about to call it a day when all of a sudden the fans were not blowing and my AC was not working I called a guy he was able to come out that day and I was so thankful and all it was was 2 little pieces were touching that were not supposed to touch this little guy here bent up against that guy there this cost me $160 so do not make the same mistake as me
