when men hate beautiful women Let's talk about Love Island is a weirdo, right? For many reasons, but paramount among them is this, like, weird, simmering resentment he has for Kayda. Amateur mind, it does seem related to her beauty. In our case, that face was label bombshell on Love Island, which carries with it certain assumptions. The starting premise of Kayda's existence was as a bombshell, a 10 out of 10 was your leagues at. And because Kayda of the litter, all of that men, it did signal a sort of agency to the men that normal fine with. But Zack seemed and Zack has been punishing her for that ever since. Almost like, in Kayda owes him a debt, right? Like a beauty debt. This is because Kayda is too beautiful and too desirable on the island, she owes Zack, a debt of insecurity, right? Be that confident, suffocating to Zack. And when Kayda doesn't exhibit insecurity or gratefulness to Zach for picking her, resentful. Is exacting a toll on her. He's mean to her and manipulative. Because of that, here's mine. Extraordinarily beautiful and confident and happy. And with him. She deserves punishment. Zooming out. And from a person women before, women are extraordinarily like, far more beautiful than men. And beauty, especially, like, extraordinary beauty, can be disruptive in a patriarchal society, right? Like, beauty can open doors for certain women. Make people nice to you, make strangers kind And it happens to make men very, very angry. And when men feel attraction to beauty, especially a beauty like Kayda's, they become vulnerable. Suddenly them, even if only a small part, is beholden to a woman, is beholden to someone outside of the patriarchy, them. There's a loss of power there, and men hate lose power. Isn't that the point of "negging" after all, right? Like, the point of when men pretend like they're flirting, but really give you backhanded compliments and insult you? And the point of that is to make you feel vulnerable and insecure so that you feel behold into that. Like, if you "negging" is an attempt to dismantle the power of is an attempt at undermining the social value and power of being a beautiful woman, right? Bid by a a woman into security, thereby making her vulnerable to your manipulation. How Zack has acted on the island with Kayda. He's been manipulative, he's been resentful of her, he's been envious, uttering harmful jokes at, right? Talking about bombshells right after in the hideaway. Or it's like Zack with holding the promise of exclusivity from Kayda or withholding breakfast he's angry. This is weirdo behaviour from Zack. My whole point is that what is incredibly harmful, of this like insecurity and anger he has over Kayda being so beautiful. That all the time because female beauty can be incredibly powerful and disruptive, and I'm sure some angry comments like, in three seconds. Beauty is rebellion. I love it! Ah!
