live wedding sketches for Taylor & Travis One of the biggest celebrity weddings of the year has finally happened... Guests reportedly had to hand over their phones before the ceremony, so there are no photos from the day. A live illustrator would have been the perfect way to capture those moments. So I decided to become the wedding illustrator they never hired. The first step was creating a custom sketch card for the occasion. Selena Gomez & Benny Blanco Karlie Kloss Gigi Hadid Ed Sheeran & Cherry Seaborn Camila Cabello and of course... Taylor & Travis Sadly, Taylor and Travis didn't invite me to their wedding. One of the things I love most about live illustration is that it captures a moment in a completely different way. Instead of everyone leaving with another selfie on their phone, guests leave with a hand-drawn keepsake they’ll hopefully treasure for years. A private, phone-free wedding like Taylor and Travis’s would have been the perfect occasion for live event illustration. Although, with a guest list like theirs, it probably would’ve taken a whole team of illustrators rather than just one. Sadly, Taylor and Travis didn’t hire me to sketch their guests.
