This was the ugliest part of my backyard, and I'm on a mission to transform it. I spent forever painting this patio. It's time to finish out the rest of my vision with building block planters. After finishing building all of these cinder block planters, it was time to make them look pretty. You can definitely mix deco yourself, but I decided to get the premixed stucco. This was tedious and time consuming, but it's totally worth it in the end. Meanwhile, my kids are living their best toy stories in summer lives. In case you're wondering how long this took, it was about 45 minutes to an hour per planter and there's eight planters, so a long time. After scraping the rough parts off, it was time to paint. Both my children and the bugs kept me company. And for the record, the paint also took a very long time. I mean, look at the difference that this paint makes. Also painting also took a very long time. Leave it there. Hey, go put it back please. I asked him my stories whether I should get fake trees or real trees, and I was surprised that most of you said fake trees. So I ordered a ridiculous amount of fake trees.
