8 years ago I sold my wedding dress the day after my wedding because your girl was dirt broke, okay? You gotta do what you gotta do. I was really, really sad about not having my wedding dress for lots of reasons. But one of the biggest reasons was I lost 180 pounds since my wedding. I really wanted to see what it would be like to try on my dress post weight loss. So on a whim, I reached out to the girl who purchased my dress 8 years ago asking if she'd mind if I had it back. Not thinking she would respond to me. But to my surprise, not only did she say yes, she shipped it from Canada and it's finally here. So let's unbox it together. I don't know why I'm nervous. I never thought I would see this dress again. It holds a lot of good memories and a lot of hard memories for me too because I remember how uncomfortable I was on the pictures and videos from my wedding with my weight. So it's hard to look back on the pictures. I'm so excited to see her. Excited to try her on. It is still in its bag. The girl did say it's probably gonna need a cleaning. I might wear this for a photoshoot if you were watching the video of the dresses. I hated all of them. I really want to cry. Oh my gosh. These sleeves, I literally went to Joanne Fabric, bought a bunch of tool and these lace appliques were on a roll. I brought it to a seamstress and she hand-made these sleeves for me that button up the back because I didn't really want my arms to show. I can't believe it. I can't believe it. Oh my gosh. These sleeves. I really don't have words right now. Oh my gosh. I'm going to try it on. It is just as beautiful as I remember and I think I'll try it on. It's a little bit too big. Oh my goodness. Okay, well, here is my dress for reveal. It is just as beautiful as I remember and I think I'll try it on. Come back for part two.
