I am rich in life because... I get to eat breakfast by myself. Growing up in a very wealthy family, I noticed something surprising: like most other rich people, I was almost never alone. There was always a housekeeper, a driver, an assistant, a chef, a personal trainer, a planner, or someone coordinating the day. It looked like luxury from the outside, but it also meant very little privacy and very little spontaneity. Now, one of my greatest luxuries is making my own breakfast, sitting quietly with my coffee, listening to the birds, and not having anyone ask me for anything. We spend so much time chasing convenience that we forget independence is a form of wealth. Real luxury isn't always a private jet or a mega yacht.
