adding widgets to my mobile app I'm building buds a mobile app to help you track your friendship health and I just added widgets at a glance you can see the health of your friendships if you have any plans today or important dates like their birthday it works in all iOS widget sizes I still need to work on the Android version and you can click on a bud to open their information app out I think it turned out really cute and initially when I was planning the app I thought widgets was something I didn't need in the initial release because I want to focus on getting the app out as soon as possible but I was talking to my friends and they were like no you need widgets from day one because they're a core part of the value proposition like, Really? Like I don't really see how but now I understand really a widget really helps you meet the user where they're at on the screen wherever they want to put it in a very cute way in this case so, consider me a widget fan now and if you're even waiting for buds thank you for your patience I am working hard and hope to get it out very soon
