I'm a photographer which means I work from home a lot. To keep myself sane, I also work from coffee shops quite often. So I want to start a series to find the best coffee shops to work from in Columbus and then also rate them. The judgment categories are: Number one, seating. Seating arrangements, is it cozy? Is there plenty of seating? Two, is there Wi-Fi? Three, is there food? So you can work there for a while. Four, how's the coffee? Five, closing time. What time do they close? Because a lot of coffee shops close at like 2 PM. And six, vibes. Just the overall vibe. And bonus points if there's something cool to go and do afterwards, preferably within walking distance. And today we're at Koffee Paradise in Reynoldsburg. So let's get into things. First things first, the vibes. The vibes were stunning. I love the decor. Lots of very cute decor. They had plenty of seating. They even had comfier options like couches and floor cushions, which was fun. And they had tons of really cute mugs and ramen bowls for sale. I even spotted this random Christmas mug, which I thought was funny. The menu was really big. There was coffee, matcha, tea, boba. We also have boba now. We got coffee flights as well. They do have food, which is a win. They had lots of pastries, but I got the bacon and egg and cheese sandwich. And then I got an iced latte decaf with almond milk and cinnamon syrup and it was so good. It tasted like fall in a cup. One thing about me is that I want my coffee to be strong and the flavor to be strong. And this checked both boxes. And then I got the bacon and egg and cheese sandwich. So I was able to spend the whole afternoon editing and doing admin work without feeling rushed. Now as far as the area goes, not really all that much to walk to there. But there is a thrift store and a metro park nearby if you wanted to do that. But if you have any coffee shop recommendations, let's just do the overall. 25/26. Vibes: 4/5, seating: 5/5, food: 4/5, coffee: 5/5, Wi-Fi: 1/1, closing time: 4/5, activity bonus: 1.
