Turns out you might be able to play GTA 6 on PC the day that it launches. What is going on? Make sure you hit follow because I track this stuff that lets you play the games you're not supposed to. So GTA 6 comes out this November, and here's the bad news for PC players. It's PS5 and Xbox only. There's no PC version and that's probably not coming for another year or two at least. Rockstar pulled the exact same move with GTA 5. So PC gamers started hunting for a way around it. They landed on one word. We all know. Emulation! Now, the idea is that your PC pretends to be a PS5, so you run the console version without ever owning a console. And right now, that race is officially on. Because just this week, one of these PS5 emulators booted its very first real game on a PC. Now, it's a tiny 2D game and it barely does anything else yet, but it actually renders, runs smooth. So, that's step one. And good news, we've seen the exact same thing before. The PS4 emulator, Shad PS4, started in the same spot. Booting little games that nobody cared about. And today it runs Bloodborne at 4K on PC. That's a game that Sony swore would never leave the PlayStation. Sony hated it. And guess what? It didn't matter, baby. Just imagine it. Maybe a year from now. No PS5. No waiting on Rockstar, just GTA 6 running in 4K, modded into all because a handful of people decided to make it happen. Brings to my eye...
