how to spend the perfect day in hood river your morning by heading to the Hood River it's one of my favorite things to do especially in the summer because there are so many adorable farm stands and local stops our first stop was Draper Girls Country Farm where you can pick your own fruit and don't miss the iconic swing with the most beautiful mountain views it seriously the cutest photo spot and we had the best homemade cider next head over to Hood River Lavender Farms for lavender ice cream fresh lavender bouquets during bloom season you can even pick your own lavender this place is so cool you don't want to miss it after that make a stop at the Gorge White House they have you pick flowers you pick fruit different wine tastings food and places to sit outside once you're done exploring drive into downtown Hood River for dinner at Solstice Woodfire Pizza it's actually some of my favorite pizza and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu and of course you need to grab a scoop of gelato from the little ice cream truck nearby and head down to the waterfront you can take a walk or find a spot on the grass and watch all the windsurfers out on the Columbia River and make sure to save this for your next trip to Hood River
