Here's how to make a pumpkin arch for your Halloween porch. First is making your frame. We used PVC pipe and cut it based on our measurement. We put two rebar on each side of the arch about a foot into the ground and then we just slid our PVC pipe over it. Then we slid our PVC pipe frame over. Before attaching any pumpkins, I like to lay everything out first. It just helps me make sure I have enough pumpkins. I also labeled each pumpkin to know exactly where every color is going to go. For this year's color palette, I spray painted pumpkins taupe, white, dusty orange, and black. Drill two holes in the back of each pumpkin and thread a zip tie through each one. Then you're going to install each pumpkin and zip tie them tightly against the PVC pipe. Also to make this extra secure, we even took extra large zip ties to zip tie the PVC pipe to our column. Next, I used about eight black leaf garlands around the arch, weaving them in and around the pumpkins to fill everything out. My favorite part is adding fairy LED lights around the frame. Pro tip, it's easier to wrap these around the arch when it's dark outside so you can actually see where the lights are going. The lights come with a remote so you can easily turn them on and off and they even change color to match your Halloween vibe. Now I'm just finishing the rest of the porch, adding all the final touches to bring this whole Halloween vision together. I can't believe how this pumpkin arch turned out. It completely transformed our front porch and might be my favorite Halloween DIY yet. So what do y'all think? Should I bring the pumpkin arch back this year?
