In an act of desperation, I bought a modern couch. (Don’t shame me too much) here was my thought process. I’ve been searching for months, even before closing on the house for the perfect couch. I found several, but the prices were way too high. So I settled for my first modern piece of furniture, and got a warranty because I didn’t trust it. The piece was broken upon arrival. After the new part was delivered, three of the screws broke when I was trying to assemble. Did I learn my lesson? yes. So do as I say not as I do, and buy vintage 😩.
