Mo' Bettahs just opened up in Burnsville, MN so you know I had to try it. I usually wait a couple months before I go to a place but since I was in the area, why not? I got their chicken katsu chicken, teri chicken, white rice, mac salad. I got their kalua pig, spicy mayo sauce cup, and a large fountain drink. I'm gonna try like katsu chicken first because you gotta be able to nail katsu chicken. Uh, it's looking the part. Let's see how it tastes. I should've got katsu chicken sauce. It's crispy. Not bad. Uh, here's the spicy mayo sauce. I got it just for fun. Let's see how this one tastes. That sauce is tangy. It's spicy. And has good flavor. I like the sauce. We're gonna try the chicken teriyaki next. And this is what it looks like. You guys can see that it's been grilled. I saw them grilling it on site. So, yeah, it tastes good. That teriyaki sauce that they put on there. Tastes really good. It's not overpowering but has a good sweet flavor. Not bad. Not bad at all. Here's some white rice. Tastes like plain white rice. Here's the macaroni salad. This one's a big deal because people love macaroni salad. Hawaiian macaroni salad has mayo and vinegar base. Um, and the noodles are usually cooked a little bit more than the standard macaroni. That's pretty good. I like that sauce. Um, the pork. Looks very tender. Very juicy. It was slow roasted for 10 hours. That's what it says on the sign. It's a little saltiness. That's actually pretty good. I don't know if the owner or manager that I saw was the owner or manager, but if you get there early enough and you get the collector's cup, you get free refills for a year. So, I'm sure they're gonna run out of these pretty soon. But, uh, let you guys know. Let me see how much everything cost. And it looks like they might have overcharged me for the three meat combo, but, uh, other than that, prices were decent. Since this is a chain, I can rate it. Keep in mind, I'm gonna give it like fast food scores. The chicken katsu, I'll give that an 8.5. I thought that was good. I liked that sauce. The chicken teriyaki sauce on there was good. Um, the pork, usually I hate pulled pork, but that tasted pretty good. It had good flavor, so I'll give that like an 8.4. Everything was good. The prices were decent, even though I think they might have charged me wrong. I thought it said the three meat combo was like $18 or something like that. But, uh, I have to say they were not bad. They were not bad at all. So, this place, Hawaiian Brothers, is like the big Hawaiian chain out there. It's cool to have it here in Minnesota. The Mo' Bettahs. The better. That was dumb. Anyways, let me know what you guys think. I'll see you guys soon. Tony Cu. Out.
