BREAKING: We just sued the Trump administration over its attempt to gut the Endangered Species Act.    With this heartbreaking attack, the administration has taken an ax to the Act, stripping away vital protection for the habitat endangered species need to survive.    If not stopped, this move will be a death sentence for species on the brink of extinction. Endangered manatees will starve in new numbers, northern spotted owls will have nowhere to nest as their forests are clear-cut, Florida panthers will be confined to ever-shrinking pockets of habitat, while polar bear and sage-grouse habitat could be drilled, bulldozed, and destroyed.    Our activists and lawyers will do whatever it takes to stop Trump's devastating assault on our wildlife.    We've beat back attacks on this landmark law before.
