The Catholic position is that Jesus Christ started one church and that church is the Catholic Church. So the New Testament was written by Catholic men for Catholics. It was actually the Catholic Church that compiled all of the writings of both the Old and New Testaments and was able to tell us what books belong in the Bible because they're inspired and what books do not belong in the Bible because they are not inspired. Why do you say that the Bible was written for Catholic men? I mean it wasn't. It was written for by Catholics. It was already being followed, the Catholics, you know, if we want to say that in 300 when it was formalized, you know, in the 300s or whatever. I mean it was written to the Jews, to Gentiles, to everything like that.
