MAKING MY HOUSE A HOME dining dining room A series where I'm slowly turning this house into a home one room at a time And today we're tackling on our dining room This is a space where we're working with My husband and I love to cook and host friends and family so we wanted our dining room to be the focal point of the house I was so nervous to order a rug online especially because colors can be so deceiving online But that was not the case with this rug It was the perfect moody mix of greens, browns, and blacks I absolutely love our dining table My husband had the audacity to doubt my vision with these black chairs But the rug really tied everything in I fell in love with this pot when I first saw it and I knew it would pair well with an olive tree After much research, I finally found the perfect olive tree that was both realistic and affordable I had so much wrapping paper from all our home goods runs and was able to use it to fill the dead space inside the pot My mom gave me this artificial grass to use as a topper And I was so in love with the end results The addition of this olive tree in the dining room really brought this space to life Now, would you believe me if I told you that we got everything for our dining room except the chairs on Amazon?
