I've had ADHD since I was 10. Nobody warned me about the pain of time wasted. Not the distraction. Not the procrastination. The looking back. I'd lose hours to scrolling, then have to sit with what those hours cost. Goals that came and went. Work rushed at the last minute because I started too late. And the one that actually hurts: my family would get home, and I'd still be stuck in work mode. Physically there. Not present. That's the part nobody posts about. The distraction isn't the damage. The distraction is what causes the damage. Here's how honest I'm going to be with you: one of the reasons I've been so inconsistent posting here is that I waste too much time. Same loop. I'm not above it. Actimate came out of that. Not from a business plan. From wanting my own hours back. It's finally at a place where I'm confident enough to talk about it. I'm going to be around more. Tell me what your version of this looks like. We can get better together. #adhd #adhdprobs #adhdlife
