Today I'm here at Goodwill with $80 in my pocket. Let's go inside and see if we can make a profit. These right here are super unique. Probably use them for a flip down the road. And only six bucks. There was also this really cool vintage school desk that I have a sweet idea for. So we'll take it with us. All right, the plan here, I'm thinking we get all the stickers off. We sand down the wood, repaint it, make it look brand new. I'm gonna actually have the Arizona heat do the work for us here. Let this sit for a while. And in the meantime, I'm gonna work on getting these pieces of wood taken out. When it comes to the rivets right here, you just want to get a bit right up behind it and just push. Get behind here. Should pop right out. Voila. This one out. And then we'll get the chair. Let's get this one out. There we go. All right. So the desk sat in the sun long enough. Now we'll just go ahead and peel off these stickers. All right, finally. Quick stop at Home Depot for supplies. All right, so I had you guys vote a couple days ago between beige mom or Crayola. And Crayola was the winner. So let's grab this. We'll grab red. Yellow, blue. And green. All right, let's go ahead and get some of this wood cleaned up. So while this guy dries back here, we're gonna put on some clear coat using an old t-shirt here. Dab and go with the grain. And I'll be honest, I don't always love the look of clear coat. Sometimes I just prefer natural wood. So we'll see how this dries. I might take it off later. All right, so I'm thinking here with the chair, we go two tone. Outside we have red. I'm thinking inside we go yellow. Like we were saying earlier, probably better just to split our two bright colors in half. So I'm gonna go ahead and tape this up. And obviously, we couldn't forget about the blue. And that would not bring the Crayola look to life. Also, figured we'd discover the existing silver trim with a metallic spray paint, which went on and taped up absolutely beautiful. And I did go ahead and remove the clear coat. It was bothering me. I think this looks a whole lot better. We got red. And yellow on the inside. All right, now the fun part. Let's put this guy back together. And I did go ahead and remove the clear coat. It was bothering me. I think this looks a whole lot better. We got red. And yellow on the inside. And I did go ahead and remove the clear coat. It was bothering me. I think this looks a whole lot better. We got red. And yellow on the inside. Also used to swivel, so I went ahead and fixed that as well. Here it was before. Bang up, covered in stickers and rust. To now we have a brand new Crayola style kids vintage school desk. I'm so happy that we did go with the Crayola style. I've been wanting to go to the store and grab some actual Crayola pencils and markers. So this thing is good to go and ready for a new home.
