So greetings everybody. Two days ago, a colleague asked me, how do I see the market? How is the market going relating to the Ghana stock exchange market. It seems that the market is too slow. So I told him that well, in order to give him a feedback, I would have to look at the data. What the data is saying by each quarter. So I did an analysis of four year, four year period. And in this four period I look at the quarterly pattings on the Ghana stock exchange. So this was what I did. I started from 2022 to 2024. So let's look at the quarterly pattings and how the market reacts you know within a quarterly basis. So in 2022, quarter one had negative 1.7%. quarter two had negative 7.2%. Quarter three had negative 3.4%. Quarter four had negative 0.7%. This was for 2022. Now let's look at 2023. In 2023 the first quarter had 12.7% positive. The second quarter had 2%. The third quarter had 13%. The fourth quarter had negative 1.3%. That's for quarter four, but this is for 2023. So in 2024, let's look at 2024. In 2024, the first quarter had 12%. Second quarter had 9.2%. Third quarter had 14.1% and fourth quarter had 11.9%. Now, in 2025, 2025, first quarter had 2.27.2%. Second quarter had 0.5%. Then third quarter had 30.7%. Then the fourth quarter had 7.4%. So, this is an analysis of the parts within the market. Now, this data must be interpreted. So it tells us that the strongest, you know, uh, quarter was quarter three. It means that within each year from 2022 to 2025, quarter three had the strongest quarter. It means they perform incredibly well. They did very well. because if you look at the quarter three, quarter three had um, 20 2022 was negative 3.4. 2022 for quarter 3 was 13%. 2024 was 14.1% and 2024, 2025 was 30.7%. So it tells you that quarter 3 was very strong. You know, average returns was approximately 13.6%. So quarter 3 was positive in three of the four years approximately. 30.7% in 2025. which was strong. Our second quarter that was very strong was quarter one which is from January to March. So if you look at your stocks currently, ask yourself in this year this is a projection, right? of how quarter one in 2026 fed and how quarter two also, you know fed whether they fed well. So this is a five a four-year analysis of how the quarter went and applied them. So January to March was the second strongest quarter. Average return was about 12.5%. First quarter was also positive in three out of the four years with particularly strong uh stronger times in 20 27.19%. So let's look at the first quarter. first quarter had negative 1.7% for 2022. In 2023, they had 12.7%. In 2024, they have 12%. In 2024, they have 27%. So three positive, one negative in the first quarter. Also coming a bit more, you know, stronger. So average return of 12.5%. Now, we look at quarter four, which was moderate. Quarter four was moderate. but inconsistent. So in quarter four we had about 4.3%. It was negative in 2022 and negative in 2023 but strong in 2024 and in 2025. So let's look at quarter four. In quarter four, yes, we had negative 0% quarter um that's for 2022. in 2023 quarter four we have 1.3%. In 2024 we have 11.9%. In 2025 we have 7.4%. two positive, two negative. So here a bitaveragly, you know, but the weakest quarter within the trend was quarter two. In quarter two we had only 1.1% only that one because how two was positive in three of the four years. The power average is the three of the four years. So this is that of quarter the quarter two which was the weakest. Quarter two was the weakest and let's see quarter two. In quarter two we have negative 7.2 for 2022. In 2023 we have um negative 2.0. Uh we have 9.20 9.20% then we have 0.5%. So we see a trend. So if you ask me how the market is going, this is a trend that within the third quarter, the market is stronger within the third quarter. This is from 2022 to 2025. Within the second quarter, it's also a bit more stronger After the third quarter then then comes the second quarter. We see this as a trend. So with this trend you're able to make an analysis looking at 2026 whether it's following the same pattern or the pattern has changed. I want you to make an informed decision whether it's following that trend and that may be the reason why some of the markets has been very slow within that period but I can guarantee you it's going to pick up it's going to be more stronger than you ever thought. So this is an analysis. All my figures and my data were from the Ghana stock exchange market and from the security and exchange commission. So this is my source of reference and this is an analysis on a copy of pattern on how the market is moving. So if you're asking me why is there a change why is there no change the market is slow. With this explanation you are able to make an informed decision or you're able to educate yourself that it is because of this and because of this. I hope this video bless you.
