Channel 4 have just added two new true crime documentaries about cases that completely shocked the UK. So let's talk about them. Murder in Suburbia. So this aired on Channel 4 last night Thursday the 16th of July and it's now available to watch on the Channel 4 app and it has two episodes. It looks into the extremely horrific murder of Sharon Birchwood, who in 2007 was found murdered at her home, where she lived alone. And this documentary series looks into the police investigation to see if they can get to the bottom of who the perpetrator of this awful crime actually was. I've just finished watching this and it is quite fascinating, and a lot of things do unfold that you don't quite expect. It just takes a few twists and turns. However, just so tragic and so, so sad. Or all in all, a very interesting watch. And also new, which also aired last night on Channel 4, but is now available to watch on the app, is the second season of Murder Case: The Digital Detectives. So season one has three episodes and they are all available to watch right now on the Channel 4 app. However, season 2 just has one episode available for now. And it is an extremely, extremely harrowing episode. It looks into the death of teenager Harvey Wilgoose, who was very sadly murdered while he was at school. Completely shocking. This was a very, very hard watch. It was an extremely hard watch. Um, so just be aware of that before you do go and watch it. But I do have to say this is a fantastic series. It looks into how the police use digital forensics to solve crimes. So quite a modern take on policing. So interesting the things that they can do and find out about these crimes and, you know, use the tool to solve them. So again, definitely recommended. But as I said, this is an absolutely heartbreaking one. So just be careful before you go and watch it.
