Who hears the waters call by Sophia St germain My first ever PR box and it's from one of my favourite authors! 🥹 I'm so incredibly grateful, and I've been obsessing over every single detail. The artwork, the goodies, the care that went into it... absolutely everything is perfect. A huge thank you to @Sophia | Author 📚 for the absolute honour of choosing me to be part of this ❤️ Even the gorgeous box itself has earned a permanent place on my bookshelves as part of my Sophia shrine! 😂 And yes... the shredded paper was also a huge hit with my rabbits, as you'll see at the end of the reel 🐰 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I wasn't expecting vikings to become my newest obsession... yet here we are. Somehow this book convinced me to become emotionally invested in sentient ships, feral over a broody viking warrior... and if this is what viking fantasy romance has been hiding from me all this time, I owe it an apology! This book had me giggling, kicking my feet, clutching my chest, and repeatedly yelling "JUST KISS ALREADY!" (or maybe stab each other... honestly either seemed equally likely 🤷🏼‍♀️) What I loved: ⚔️ A fierce, stubborn FMC 🖤 A grumpy, broody MMC who absolutely stole my heart 🔥 TRUE enemies to lovers done so well 😂 Banter that had me grinning like an idiot 🚢 Sentient ships (yes... I'm emotionally attached to a boat now) 🗡️ Questionable loyalties, betrayals, and twists that kept me trusting absolutely nobody 🪓 Rich Norse mythology and brutal viking battles Elvara and Darcke completely had me in a chokehold. One minute they looked ready to kill each other, the next the tension between them was so thick I could barely breathe. Every interaction had me wondering whether they were about to kiss or commit murder... and honestly, either outcome felt equally likely! If you enjoy enemies to lovers where they actually feel like enemies before they fall, this one absolutely delivers I'd also like to formally apologise to Darcke... despite the pronunciation guide, my brain stubbornly spent the entire book calling him Dark-ee... Why? I've absolutely no idea.
