Krishna gave us the secret to breaking psychological stress 5,000 years ago, ignore it. But we still ignore it. Welcome to Day 3 of explaining a Gita verse daily until our app Karana launches. In Gita 270, Krishna begins with one of the greatest metaphors ever created. He says, think of your mind like the ocean. It means rivers pour thousands of gallons of water into the ocean every single second, but the ocean remains completely unbothered and unshaken. Like the ocean, you shouldn't overflow. Your desires, stress, and your notifications are all your rivers. The goal is never to stop them from coming, but to build a mind so vast that them entering doesn't bother you anymore. That's exactly what we've learned by building Karana. Instead of drowning you in massive walls of text, we're splitting our lessons into bite-sized pieces so your inner ocean remains completely unbothered. Let's build our vast minds together. See you tomorrow for Day 4.
