Those "wild grapes" almost fooled me. While hiking I spotted what looked like wild grapes on the ground. Following the vine told a very different story, they were poison ivy berries. This is definitely one of those things you do you do not want to miss. On a rock for exercise. See a bunch of wild grapes falling on the ground. Why are they Craig? Well Craig, they're on that vine right there. And if you follow that vine, you'll notice. But those aren't wild grapes, those are seeds for poison ivy. Those are seeds for poison ivy, cause this is a poison ivy vine right there. That has the leaves of the grape family. The berries contain urushiol too. So yes, I've seen this. I've seen these seeds on the poison ivy, so I knew what I was looking at. But because this is all intermingled, confusing for people. Those seeds right there are just if not more toxic with yarrow, leaves and the vine itself. Seems like I've been on an unavoidable kick lately. That's not a problem. I think we need to know the edible medicinal things out here. And know the avoidables as well. That way we can spend more time in the best classroom that has no walls.
