5 things that are worth your money (rising freshmen into college) from a Virginia Tech student! 5 things you definitely want to bring to college as a rising freshman. As someone who just finished their best freshman year ever at Virginia Tech. First on the list is a DigiCam. The amount of fun, low-key, crazy videos and pictures I have on this camera is unbeatable. Nick from Love Island touched this camera. This camera has a picture of every person I've ever met. Probably has a picture on this camera. I'm not gonna lie. And the girl that's gonna be like, 'Oh guys, let's take a picture.' This camera is so silly. I love it. Next on the list, at least one business professional outfit. Nobody tells you that a lot of your classes, you're gonna have to do presentations and they want you to be business professional. Nobody tells you that. You're gonna rush to buy a blazer or last minute to try to find a good business attire. Bring the blazer, bring the slacks, you will use it. Third on the list, a good portable charger. There's been a time that my dad called the police to my dorm because my phone was dead for so long and he didn't know where I was. Honestly, just being irresponsible. But a good portable charger is essential. This is the Anker brand and it's really nice. It charges my phone to 100%. Personally, I think bags are so nice for college. Backpacks on me, I feel like they're so uncomfortable, dragging me back. Like a Coach bag. It has a laptop sleeve, a few small pockets. A really popular one that I know a lot of girls have is Longchamp, Longchamp, Longchamp. I don't know. It's light on your shoulder. I think bags over backpacks for me. It's definitely the move for college. Last but not least, this may be the most important one out of all of them, a good pair of black boots. Don't even want to bring those other disgusting ones into my room. I've seen a good pair of quality boots. You can find a bunch of good ones on Amazon. Make sure they're good durability because you're gonna be running them, you're gonna be walking them. Everything's super walkable when you're a freshman. While there's still time this summer, go get yourself now. Let me know if you guys want any more recommendations. Bye!
